750 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Metal Door"

A sliding metal lift door recorded from the exterior. Recorded on a tascam dr-01 in stereo at 16bit 48khz wav.

Lots of bangs, bongs, clangs and you-name-it-whats. Yesternight our theatrical trouppe had been disassembling the set; main part of it is a huge, multi-ton construction consisting of several dozens (or hundreds?) steel tubes - it looks like erecting scaffolding, but much more steady. Disassembling it is a chore even if you have 25+ people around. I have recorded the later stage: clanging tubes are dragged to the hoister in order to be brought down to the ground level and loaded into a truck. Speech is cut off (hopefully all of it). Have a good use of it.

The noise of a latch on a bathroom door clicking as the door shuts. This was recorded using a rode nt1-a microphone, and nothing has been added.

Various performances of locking and unlocking a metal deadbolt on a wooden door, recorded with a dpa stereo microphone kit into a sound devices 633 recorder. Trimmed in pro tools, no eq or other effects added.

This was made recording doors around my university. I used a zoomh1 and edited in audition.

Shed door opens, then closed. First with a metallic click to unlock and followed by a long opening creaking door. Once opened there is a plastic rustle and the door closes with an even longer spooky creaking noise. Followed by a clunk when shut and a metallic click to lock the shed door. Silence back and front.

This is several swings of a huge rusty dumpster door - it varies in pitch and volume, and there is a little bit of background noise. Good for sound effects work. It's particularly good if you happen to be looking for the sound of a particularly deranged tuba!.
